During the first day of AUSA I was going around taking pictures of people and since my friend (who is organizing our ALA cosplay group) is obsessed with Togami I thought I'd take of picture of this really awesome Togami I saw. But after we got to talking about the supposed DR panel (that was cancelled, sadly

) and when I told them that I'd be cosplaying Naegi again they said they wanted to hang out!

So thanks to my new photographer friends we got to have a nice long shoot...it was a lot of fun! Plus AUSA is so pretty...it's like the perfect place for Togami, being used to such riches and all, lol.

The whole time we kept trying to find a library or a library-type room since...well...it is Togami, after all, lol. And then finally, as we were about to part ways, there was a random bookcase in the middle of the con! Talk about lucky! Lol.

The title is a reference to a particular show, but maybe it's too hard to get. Lol.

Wearing Naegi to ALA was more of a prolonged cosplay test than anything, but since I was one of the few Naegis, it was really fun! I also met a lot of people and since I still don't have that many con friends on the East Coast (outside of my club / school, of course) it was a great experience. The shoot was great, us just derping and trying different things! ><

I was a little upset though since I didn't have a wig head (I ended up having to order another one just to have in the dorm since all of mine are now in Cali...>,>) my styling of the wig is really bad. And I forgot the binder I usually use so I had to use a really crappy one...>,>
Sorry! I will do better for next time! I would have tried so much harder if I had known such beautiful photographer friends and cosplay friends were gonna pop up along the way! ><

But overall it was a great experience, and I'm really glad I could meet so many new people! It makes me wish I had put in more effort, lol. Lesson learned: There is no such thing as a "throw-away con" when it comes to cosplay. Cause you just never know what will go down. U,U;

Both TS and I really like the sort of weird power dynamic in Togami and Naegi's relationship, so I think we tried to bring that out in the photos. Yea.
